Richard Smith, BSN, MSN, MBA

Chief Nursing Officer

Richard Smith, Chief Nursing Officer came to Riverview Regional Medical Center after serving as CNO for a hospital in the Las Vegas market.  He is originally from the North Georgia / Chattanooga area.  He completed his undergraduate nursing degree (BSN) at the University of West Georgia.  He has a Master of Science in  Nursing (MSN) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, TN.    He has been in nursing over 12 years.  His philosophy of nursing focuses on individualized patient care and improving the patient and family experience and outcomes.
