Visiting friends and family members is essential to the healing process of a patient. Not only does it bring joy and comfort, research shows having visitors helps decrease the amount of time a patient spends in the hospital. But to ensure patients get the proper amount of rest, visiting hours in most of our patient areas are from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times and may not be permitted in patient care areas.
