Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center Services

Special care for chronic wounds is one of the latest specialty services Riverview Regional Medical Center has added to its health care arsenal. The Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center specailizes in treating patients with chronic wounds, such as pressure ulcers, hard-to-heal surgical incisions, and diabetic-related injuries.

Due to changes in the nervous system and blood flow to small vessels, people with diabetes are especially at high risk for hard-to-heal wounds along with people who have peripheral vascular disease, kidney failure, circulation problems, and those who are confined to bed for extended periods of time.

Riverview Regional Medical Center is proud to offer this service to the community. The Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center is conveniently located at 2013 Rainbow Drive in Gadsden. Patients with chronic wounds may call the Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center for more information at (256) 546-6038.
